Perhaps the the most well-known Scandinavian chair is the CH24 Wishbone chair. Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1949, the CH24 Wishbone Chair is celebrated for its sculptural form, organic expression and enduring elegance. Crafted through more than 100 meticulous steps – most performed by hand – each chair passes through eight sets of skilled hands, from start to finish, in the Carl Hansen & Søn workshops on the island of Funen.
